I was born in Melbourne and raised in sunny Mildura. I started of my self employment trajectory when doing a university degree in small business and finance in Adelaide. After university I decided to travel through South America and the USA before settling into a life in the Property and Finance Industry in London many years ago back in 2002. I quickly found out corporate office life really wasn’t for me and my passion for photography, creativity and generally getting out of the office each day was calling me slowly and surely.
Enjoying 2 years of work and travel overseas and living away from home I decided to come back to my roots to spend 12 month with family before moving to Melbourne to live.
It was in Melbourne that I decided to take on a decision to originally purchase as a real estate photographer franchise with fantastic success for many years. While I have always been a passionate photographer I also particularly admired the building industry and real estate industry & I decided to start this franchise business dedicated to servicing these areas combining both interests.
Over these years in photography I discovered the power of marketing my business using images online which meant the end of knocking on doors and cold calling and went on to achieved consistent top 5 and sales results nationwide for my franchise company photographing real estate in the local area of Carnegie & Oakleigh and surrounding suburbs working with the largest and most dominant agencies in the industry.
We Shoot Buildings was born!
My passion in photography developed into the art of architectural photography during this time while also moving towards a passion for both photography and its power in marketing a business such as builders, property developers and construction companies looking to proudly show off the newly finished projects and past best work.
I realised that I had worked out the best ways to achieve results with online marketing for my own small business and while doing so realised a huge passion is to be able to do it for others as well through this photography and how they can use these images online with websites & social media to achieve fantastic increases in customers and revenues to small to medium building companies Melbourne, Regional Victoria.
